Electrify Faith Electrocute Fear

When you electrify a conductor of electricity you enhance its function to operate and impact as it was designed. Electrocuting something is the result of overwhelming it to the point you destroy its ability to function instead of enhancing it.

Fear paralyzes my ability to experience joy. It wounds potential and postpones opportunities. It disables my connection to the source of love, power, and a disciplined mind. Fear has the uncanny power to hollow out a life and set it adrift on the seas of life.

This is why fear, intimidation, and all of its cohorts cannot be tolerated in the life. It is not an alternative lifestyle because in reality it’s no life at all. Now we can appreciate a little more the following verse.

John 10:10 (KJV)
10  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Much of what Satan does in destroying a life is not so much the physical but rather the inward condition. His providing of adverse or unholy things in plain view of our sight, is there for the purpose to cause a response that is out of order with God. Reactions such as worry, fear, and unbelief are the harvest he is looking to reap for his investment.

However, if I am building my life on the principles of God’s holy word then the Spirit gives an innate ability to filter all things seen through the prism of his statutes. The principles subdue the adversity and all that is foreign to the kingdom of our Lord to the throne of our God. We in essence become bystanders to this phenomenon and observe the superiority of God’s principles in comparison to all of the enemy’s weapons of destruction.

Matthew 7:24-27 (KJV)
24  Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
25  And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
26  And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
27  And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Every time I do what God says, I electrify my faith while simultaneously electrocuting my fear. Light always overwhelms darkness.

Interject life in place of the word house. “House” is the life you’ve built. Don’t make the mistake of thinking that building your house on the rock that there will be no flood. Rains and floods hit everyone. But only one group is standing when the water recedes. God says “if you will listen to me and do what I say and let me govern you, when life hits you with everything it has – what you built won’t crumble." Remain in obedience while the flood rages against you and watch the intended affects orchestrated by Satan be electrocuted from damaging your soul.

When something comes into your life which is less than pleasant now you can count it all joy because you know it WILL work out for your benefit. You may not get a Porsche out of it but you will develop spiritual muscle through it and be able to remain standing till the end.

Matthew 10:22 (KJV)
22  And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

Why will you make it to the end? Because you are trusting in something that is everlasting – eternal! The Word of God!

John 6:27 (KJV)
27  Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

Let God have it today. He will remove all fear and you will once again experience joy. The scheduling of opportunities for God to show his greatness will resume once again.
